A short documentary I produced, directed, edited, and picked up a camera for, that tackles the subject of food deserts, diabetes, and children's health throughout Virginia, and how the Virginia Grocery Investment Fund can help.
I worked with the American Heart Association very closely for months to script a piece that tackled a difficult and hotly debated subject which involves personal choice and responsibility. The target were the legislators of Virginia so I had to pack in a lot of content to effectively communicate all of the American Heart Associations talking points. Traveling Virginia, talking with a wide variety of folks, working with kids and the elderly, came together to make this an impactful piece.
